Forest Hill

This elegant Toronto home uses the finest fabrics and materials mixed with bright and bold colours to bring the rooms to life in a sophisticated yet playful way.

Kate’s “Champagne” rug in the master bedroom was custom made and handwoven in the most luxurious silk, and is perfectly complemented by the hand painted wallpaper and rich pink velvet curtains. Kate’s Paisley rug is seen in the blue guest bedroom, in a blue and red colourway to accentuate the blue painted walls. The standalone chair in the hallway was reupholstered in colourful patterned fabric. The basement entertainment room was transformed into a brightly coloured Moroccan space, a completely different feel to the rest of the house which really makes it feel like you are escaping the world above. Kate’s Heaven design can be seen on the wool flat-weave ottomans, demonstrating how her designs can be customized in many different ways to fit a space.
